Our Forests Annual Hike with Roy Keene, 2:00pm-5:00pm

Preceding Panel – ENR Center 12:30pm-1:45pm

In the tattered and threatened McKenzie watershed, hiding in a little piece of federal land, is an ancient forest remnant called the McGowan Grove. Visit this magic place with us and you will understand why we’re fighting for what’s left of Oregon’s once grand forests. This hike is proceeded by a panel discussing the past, present, and future perspectives of forestry in the ENR Center in the law school from 12:30pm-1:45pm.

Led by Our Forests wilderness guides Dave and Dee Tvedt with public interest forester Roy Keene. Some off-trail terrain requires moderate experience. Boots, long pants and jacket recommended. Transportation provided for first 20 people. Vans will leave from the west entrance of the law school promptly at 2:00pm. Please, no pets or kids.
