Contact forms

If you leave your contact information, we use that information to send emails about important events, activities, and information. We send our newsletters to those that sign up. You can unsubscribe to the emails at anytime by selecting the “unsubscribe” at the bottom of your email. Contact information will never be shared with any other organization.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

Umpqua Watersheds shares your data with Mailchimp and Bloomerang. Both companies have their own privacy policies. https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/ and https://bloomerang.co/privacy-policy/. Both Mailchimp and Bloomerang will not share information that we collect and store for use with their products. If you donate through our website, we use Stripe for those transactions. The privacy policy for Stripe is https://stripe.com/privacy.

How long we retain your data

We store personal information indefinitely or until we are asked to remove it. 

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We do not send any of your information to anyone outside of our organization except those listed above for operational purposes.

Additional information

How we protect your data

Our staff and volunteers that have access to your information are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Our donor software program, Bloomerang, takes security of the information seriously and are committed to securing your information.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We have hired only those companies that guarantee that they will not share your personal information. Should a data breach occur, we will immediately notify you of the breach and what measures may need to be taken. None of the information that we collect would jeopardize your financial security.
