Let’s hike on National Trails Day Saturday June 3.

Jessie Wright Section of the North Umpqua Trail is 4 miles one way. We can shuttle a vehicle to Soda Springs and start at Marsters Bridge. The trail is along the river in old growth and passes Eagle Rock and Old Man Rock and ends at the unique columnar basalt at Soda Springs. Would also like to visit Ilahee Flats and the Ilahee Flats trail. We’ll meet in the Fowler St parking lot behind the Roseburg Library and leave at 8:30. We can also meet folks in Glide at the North Umpqua Ranger Station. Bring water, lunch and good footwear. Might need insect repellant.
