Forest Hike May 19th
Botany for Beginners: This informative hike will be led by Tracy Pope of Streamside Flora, LLC
10 a.m.- Meet at Swiftwater Park Trailhead and botanize for 1-1.5 hours
Around 11:30/Noon- Complete introductory botany hike and continue on to Susan Creek Falls to practice if so desired. Tracy will continue on to Susan Creek.
It is only a 10 minute drive on a paved road from Swiftwater. Refer to the Facebook page if you would like to coordinate carpooling with other attendees!
1/1:30- Complete hiking for the day and go enjoy the rest of your day!
Bring: Water, snacks, comfy walking shoes and clothes for the outdoors
Optional, but recommended: small backpack, camera, notebook, pen/pencil.
Hike attendance will be capped at about 15 participants to ensure quality time for the hikers and time for Tracy to give everyone an engaging and educational experience.
The $30 fee covers a quality hand lens and book for the hike and holds your spot. Click the red button to pay fee and we will get the materials for you.
