Brief Description: Hike through meadows and ancient forests recovering from a recent fire to reach two spectacular lakes.

Distance (round trip/total): 5.6 miles (with option to not go as far)
Elevation Gain: 800 feet
Longer Description: Twin Lakes are nestled in the heart of the large roadless area included in the proposed Crater Lake Wilderness south of the North Umpqua River. The area offers a sampling of the best of the region: spectacular wildflower meadows, old-growth trees, mountain views, and ancient forests recovering from a 2017 fire.
