$7Join Pacific Rivers & The North Umpqua Foundation for an exclusive film screening event of “The Lost Salmon” by Shane Anderson, next Wednesday, November 16th at 7 pm, at the Roseburg Public Library.
Shane Anderson is an award-winning documentary filmmaker based out of Olympia, Washington. In 2014 he completed his first feature documentary Wild Reverence and has since produced Behind The Emerald Curtain, A River’s Last Chance, Run Wild Run Free and Chehalis: A Watershed Moment. His films have been shown at film festivals and aired on PBS stations across the country.
Now we are delighted to invite you to view Shane’s newest documentary The Lost Salmon, an astonishing multi-year work about one of the most critical issues of the West: the status of our beloved spring-run salmon.
Join us to explore the wonders of Spring Chinook, learn about their cultural and economic importance and their current plight, and determine what each of us can do to help – while we still can.
