Genealogical Society of Douglas County quarterly Meeting is Tuesday, January 21, 2020 12 noon at Elmer’s Restaurant
Our speaker will be Darrell Jabin.
Darrell Jabin is Oregon’s Traveling Historian. He travels more than 6000 miles and works in two dozen cities in our state every year. He takes advantage of the trips to discover interesting people, places and events in Oregon history and share those on social media, in videos and presentations.
He has provided over 300 presentations in more than 40 cities. His longer videos can be found in a number of libraries. His video channel has been viewed more than 50,000 times and he has a growing following on social media.
Darrel will be sharing stories related to Oregon’s most important historical event.
