Learning in the Umpqua Watershed – Training for Teachers
March 24 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
We are excited to offer Learning in the Umpqua Watershed: Engaging K-12 Students Through Nature Connections & STEAM Activities, a training for Douglas County Educators, on Wednesday, March 24th! We were awarded a grant by the Clif Bar Family Foundation, which enables us to provide this experience for free, along with a number of curriculum resource books and a $100 stipend to each teacher who completes the program (following a questionnaire in June).
This event has already maximum capacity, but we are already brainstorming ideas for possible future iterations. If you would be interested in being involved in a future event – as either a presenter or teacher participant, please contact our Environmental Education & Outreach Leader/AmeriCorps member via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
