“Dancing Salmon Home” Film Screening & Panel Discussion
December 3, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Umpqua Watersheds on Friday, December 3rd at 5pm (Pacific Time) as we watch “Dancing Salmon Home”. This important film highlights some of the many abuses of an indigenous group, the Winnemem Wintu, of northern California, and their efforts to return native salmon to their region. Following the film, we will be joined by Chief Caleen Sisk, Cultural Preservation Officer Pompahatot Tuiimyali, and film producer Will Doolittle as we discuss the intersections between environmental degradation and the ongoing oppression of indigenous people.
