Doerner Fir Hike

Saturday March 27 Doerner Fir-tallest Douglas Fir in the world. It was measured in 2011 at 327.3 feet and trunk diameter 11.5 ft. Located in the Oregon Coast Range, a 90 minute drive from Roseburg on good roads through great forest scenery. Hike is 1 mile RT through beautiful old growth. Possible hike extension by walking up the road to view the old growth forest. See some of the areas most magnificent and valuable forests. Orphic Rock Falls near East Fork Bennett Creek Rd can be seen from the road on the drive to the trailhead. Covid precautions in place. Group size limit 10.
