May 27 marked the end of the pilot “Science Wednesday” program at Eastwood Elementary in Roseburg. The program consisted of a six-week environmental stewardship curriculum co-led by UW’s Katrina Keleher and Eastwood’s Jeff Jackson. April 10, 2015: Science Friday – GPS Navigation
At today’s Science Friday lesson we learned all about GPS (or Global Positioning Systems)! We learned about satellites, directional differentiation, how to read and input coordinates, & navigation. We ended the lesson with a geocaching activity on McGovern’s campus!
